Ibrahim Surani is a visionary technologist and leader with over 20 years of experience in entrepreneurial and technical roles.
At Astera, Ibrahim led a team to develop applications for the mortgage industry including capital markets, portfolio optimization, and loan delivery systems. Ibrahim’s key strengths are in the areas of database architecture, enterprise data and application integration, parallel computing, optimization algorithms, SOA, and product usability. Ibrahim has extensive knowledge of financial services.
Prior to Astera, Ibrahim co-founded Compusoft, Inc., a company specializing in software consulting enterprise system integration. Ibrahim also served as lead on enterprise system development with World Vision, Coca Cola, Allergan, Countrywide, and others.
Ibrahim has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from University of Karachi.
Jay Mishra is the Vice President of Development at Astera Software. He leads the product vision and development for Astera’s flagship product, Centerprise Data Integrator. Jay's key strengths lie in the areas of software design and development, technical leadership and project management.
Jay has particular expertise in the areas of optimization algorithms, database technology, and data integration methodologies. Prior to his work on Centerprise, Jay was instrumental in the design and development of the portfolio optimization software for Astera’s Mortgage product line.
Jay has over 8 years of experience in software engineering with over 5 years of experience in managing mid-sized, fast-paced and dynamic software engineering teams.
Jay holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computing from the Indian Institute of Technology.
Mike O'Quinn leads Product Research and Development for Astera's flagship product, Centerprise Data Integrator.
With over seven years of experience in developing mission-critical, enterprise applications, Mike has developed a strong knowledge in existing patterns, best practices, and evolving trends in data integration. Prior to his work on Astera’s data integration products, Mike had lead roles in developing Astera’s Mortgage product line.
Mike also manages Product Support at Astera Software, ensuring Astera's customers receive responsive professional product support. Mike's efforts have resulted in excellent client feedback for the last two years.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of California at Riverside.
