Using the Studio is great for both creating and executing data mappings, but what
if you can't be there to push the "Go" button to start begin the transformation?
Centerprise 3.0 offers a built in scheduler to accomplish this task. You simply
set up your data mapping as usual, save the mapping to an accessible location and
then click the "Schedule" button. The scheduler will then ask you for the
location of this file and also when to automatically execute it.
Time Based Schedules
With Centerprise, you have your choice to run a transfer daily, weekly, monthly,
or as just a one-time, future event. Weekly schedules give you an added option
specifying which days of the week you would like a transfer run. For example,
skipping weekends. You simply choose which of these schedules from
the client interface and then fill in the exact times these transfers should be
run.

File Drop Triggering
Besides time based schedules, Centerprise also offers an additional scheduling option
called the "File Drop". This schedule is for use for when a transfer should
run based on a file being dropped into a certain directory. To use this schedule,
you simply tell Centerprise which directory to watch and when a certain type of
file (of your choosing) is placed in that directory, Centerprise will begin
processing. This is ideal for watching FTP upload directories.

Works on Client or Server
Scheduling transfers is something that can done on the Centeprise client as well
as the server. To schedule a transfer on a server, you simply pick a remote
Centerprise Server and click a "Schedule" button. You then proceed to create
the schedule in exactly the same manner as you would for the client. Now,
not only can you have your transfers run unattended, you can now have them run without
you being logged into your computer with Centerprise Integration Studio running.
