Job Summary

This position is responsible for undertaking various HR functions in a generalist capacity. The incumbent will primarily support the human resource team in various recruitment, employee experience, learning and development, and employer branding initiatives. The ideal candidate should be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision and must be self-motivated and trustworthy to ensure the smooth running of our processes and operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist in full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, contacting candidates, interviewing, following up with candidates, and managing candidate pipeline.
  • Participate in networking events such as career fairs, professional association meetings, technical universities, and outplacement services.
  • Be accountable for successful employee onboarding and retention project.
  • Liaise with managers and employees at all levels to identify and assess training and development needs and help design and assess training programs.
  • Support in developing and executing the annual performance management cycle, creating an appraisal calendar, and coordinating with employees.
  • Assist in developing and executing a well-defined Employer Brand strategy and differentiated EVP to attract/retain talent.
  • Execute and develop social media content – create content and channel calendars for delivering distinctive EVP communication across various channels·
  • Identify possible industry-academia/organization partnerships for campaigns to be executed to promote Astera’s brand.
  • Act as a passionate engagement champion: Design and implement organization-wide engagement activities and events.
  • Support strategic efforts to build astera as a talent hotbed via enhancing culture and inclusivity.
  • Maintain a record of HR policies and all employee records (active and inactive) on HRMS.
  • Perform other duties requested by the manager which are related to this position and meet the qualifications.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, marketing, or related field
  • Up to 1 year of experience in HR
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with computer software, including MS Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
