2018 in Review
As we near the end of 2018, we are looking back at the exciting year we had.
In this blog, we have included some of the highlights from the past year and have curated the pieces that you loved the most.

Did you catch us in Anaheim and Toronto?

It was a particularly happening year for Astera Software as our team attended TDWI Anaheim and Big Data Toronto conferences. The focus of the conferences was to bring data professionals together and promote discussions that can pave the way for future technologies and advancements in the data management domain.

In addition, our team unveiled the new state-of-the-art data warehousing solution – DWAccelerator, at TDWI Anaheim and Big Data Toronto. We got a promising response from the attendees as we presented our innovative take on data warehousing and showed the audiences how to build a data warehouse prototype in under an hour. Our key takeaway – Automation is truly the way forward.

At Astera Software, we continuously strive for innovation, and this past year was no different. We introduced new features and transformations that will further help enterprises solve their data management challenges.

We believe that the IT resource gap should not restrict organizations in any way from unleashing the true potential of their data. We achieve this by providing end-to-end data integration, data extraction, and data warehousing solutions that are designed to empower business users. New additions to the transformation toolbox in Centerprise 7.5 will empower users to manage a wide range of data integration use-cases.

We welcomed new partners on-board

Astera Software partnered with leading technology partners in 2018, and we are excited to see what 2019 holds for us and our partners. We partnered with Tableau – a leading data visualization and business intelligence platform to bridge the data-to-insight gap and provide insight-ready analytics to the end-users. Partnering with Affirma – a US-based technology consulting company was another highlight of the year.

Centerprise enables users to run certain jobs in pushdown or ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) mode to minimize unnecessary data movement and yield significant performance gains. Users were intrigued and wanted to know more about using ELT for data integration.
Whether it is data integration, data extraction, or data warehousing, automation is the way forward. See how we enable automated data extraction with ReportMiner.
