Job Summary

The Enterprise Account Manager will be responsible for managing key accounts in the Middle East region, driving sales, and growing revenue. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the data management industry, and experience in managing complex sales cycles, developing relationships with customers, and building partnerships.

The position will be reporting to the CEO, Director of Ops and COO of the company. Moreover, the resource must be available at least twice a week during evening hours to meet with the US team.

What You’ll Do

  • Expand sales by searching for new business opportunities and develop a strategy for each of the potential accounts in the region. You’ll be responsible for managing all the aspects of the sales process including lead generation, qualification, evaluation as well as closure.
  • Create accurate forecasts, document activities in Dynamics 365 for Sales, and carry out other activities necessary to drive revenue and report them to sales management.
  • Plan out events for the targeted accounts by working with the Marketing team.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the customer’s processes and issues. Ask and answer the right questions, bring unique value to each interaction, and establish connections with various buying personas in the prospect account.
  • Connect the prospect’s business objectives, both functional and corporate, with Astera’s solutions by adopting a customer-centric approach.
  • Engage effectively and efficiently with pre-sales and post-sales support by following a disciplined approach.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
  • Build a high-performing sales team in this region.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in all Astera’s products and solutions.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Must have proper understanding of the industries in the Middle eastern region, and knowledge of data management software products.
  • At least 5 years of quota-carrying sales experience in a enterprise software/technology company, preferably in the data management industry.
  • A proven track record of qualifying and closing consultative/service-led sales, particularly multiyear and subscription-based services.
  • Exceptional ability to build and maintain relationships with enterprise C-suite executives and build consensus among the buying team.
  • Excellent time and people management skills to direct resources and advance opportunities.
  • Familiarity with the data-analytics industry and extensive knowledge of competitor products and capabilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
