Users only need concern themselves with uploading data on the cloud and downloading it once processing is done. The interface is clear and intuitive, providing users with all the necessary functionality at just a few clicks. The Admin dashboard provides file tracking insights, letting business admins control file requests made by any user throughout the organization. With the search feature, admins can filter submissions by organization, status, or chronologically.
Automated Data Extraction and Conversion
While Centerprise serves enterprise data integration needs, Astera Cloud is a more cost-efficient alternative when data extraction or conversion must be automated on a smaller scale. Businesses can upload unstructured (PDF, DOCX, PRN, TXT, etc.) and semi-structured (EDI, XML, JSON, etc.) formats while Centerprise designs the processing maps to automate data extraction and conversion requirements.
Data Quality and Profiling
Astera Cloud uses Centerprise’s powerful data quality module to run business data through pre-built integration flows that profile, cleanse, and validate data based on custom business rules. Businesses can either request further processing with additional integration flows, or download the scrubbed data for use. This feature optimizes partner data exchange, when the organization could potentially be receiving thousands of files from users across the enterprise that require verification before processing.
Partner Data Exchange
The non-technical online interface can be used to streamline partner data exchange. Files no longer need to be received or verified manually on an individual basis. As an outside interface to Centerprise, Astera Cloud facilitates partner data exchange by placing uploaded data files automatically on pre-built Centerprise workflows and processing relevant jobs once each file has been validated and cleansed via business-specific integration flows. Processed data can then be downloaded or sent elsewhere.
File Receiving and Validation
Rather than having to manually receive and verify individual data files that business users or partners send (via email, FTP connector, file sharing apps, etc.), each file gets uploaded and takes its place on its respective Centerprise dataflow on the back-end automatically. Astera Cloud will only allow files in the correct format to be uploaded. Admins can define the correct format(s) by adding preferred formats from the custom dropdown list of formats when creating a new organization on the portal.
File Tracking and Visibility
Upon upload, each file can be auto-validated through Astera-built Centerprise workflows, depending on customer requirements. The business will receive a comprehensive status summary via email for all files uploaded from each business user or partner account, while individual users get an email update on the status for their files too. This ensures they know exactly when and if any of their files have been terminated. Users can download the auto-generated response file, complete with error code explanations, by logging into their dashboard.
Multiple File Submission Channels
For file submissions, users don’t need to login to the portal and upload files every time. Astera Cloud allows a business to request creation of integration flows to download files from email, FTP, cloud, custom web app, AS2 – whichever works for the company and its business users and partners. If a specific user prefers to send their data files via email, a dataflow could be setup pertaining specifically to that user. The end result will always be the same: the file being uploaded on Astera Cloud, irrespective of the channel.
